Who we are

Troubleshooter EOOD was founded in 2014 in Sofia, Bulgaria, by Dimitar Ivanov, who still leads it. We design, run and support infrastructure for clients in software development, manufacturing, insurance, gambling risk management and backup and disaster-recovery services.
Nearly all servers run on hardware plus virtualization, and most run Linux — which happens to be exactly where we're most at home. We have a long friendship with the RPM, CentOS, Fedora, Debian and openSUSE families, and we work comfortably with Windows-based systems too.
Our international experience includes the remote administration of clusters of dozens of servers across data centers in Europe. We partner with reliable networks, integrators and IT companies to keep service quality blinking green and blue — and we build redundancy in, because we really don't like red lights.

Where is Troubleshooter based, and do you work outside Bulgaria?
We're based in Sofia, Bulgaria. Most of what we do — managed IT, remote server administration, consultancy, cloud, security and monitoring — is delivered remotely, so we work with clients across Bulgaria and the rest of Europe. Hands-on physical work, such as data-center visits and building or installing servers, we do in Sofia and the surrounding region.
What services do you offer?
Managed IT services (we run your IT operations day to day), system integration, IT consultancy and design, server infrastructure setup and maintenance, mail, database and security administration, and networking and resilience work such as load balancing, firewalls, DDoS protection and failover.
Which systems and platforms do you work with?
Linux first — CentOS and the RPM family, Debian, Fedora and openSUSE — and Windows Server too. On top of that: VMware, KVM, Docker and Kubernetes; AWS, DigitalOcean, Linode, OVH and bare-metal servers; MySQL, PostgreSQL and Redis; Postfix, Dovecot and Zimbra; NGINX and Apache; and Nagios, Grafana and the ELK stack for monitoring and logs.
Do you take one-off projects, or only ongoing management?
Both. We take on projects — infrastructure design and build-outs, migrations between providers, consulting — and we also run systems on an ongoing basis as your outsourced IT team. Many clients start with a project and keep us on to look after what we built.
